Player Comments on What Triumph Looks Like
2/8
The gameplay is very boring. The way to get all the endings is completely obvious because of the naming of the pages, and it gets very boring and short to be impactful.
The writing has no depth, which makes it hard to image what is happening, how the characters look, or even feel something for the characters.
The characters are so plain I don't care about them. Our protagonist is bullied for his eyes, which is ridiculous considering he's the son of a Reichkomissar. The bully is there for nothing but getting the attention of the teacher. Ben is a friend whose friendship with the protagonist is so lacking that you don't care about him. The teacher, though interesting because of his dissident views, is unexplored.
The world we are in makes no sense, too. How would Germany sustain such a war and be successful in a Sealion?
The story is boring, uninteresting, and makes no sense. The bullying is unnecessary. The way the protagonist changes his views is so fast I can't even take it seriously. The second ending is lacking in logic (no regime would do something as obvious as shooting a kid in a museum).
The only reason I don't give it a 1/8 is the fact it's short.

I feel like this could have been executed better. The grammar was fine and all, but the plot needs work.
*************Spoilers from here on*************************
This takes place in a world where the Nazis won for god's sake. It doesn't make sense for the main character, the son of the man that currently runs what used to be Britain, to be so extremely jaded. It doesn't really work. The whole excuse for the main character to be so jaded is that...he has brown eyes? Really? Take Ben as an example of how that doesn't work. Ben is completely brainwashed, with or without brown eyes, as the main character should be.
There should have been some sort of catalyst. The whole thing that kicks off the "rebellious" thoughts is a Jewish relic museum. I find it very unlikely that the Nazi regime would have anything Jewish, especially a copy of the Tora.
I'm going on a rant here. I just mean to say this could have been executed better. 5/10

It was interesting. I was disappointed that the story wasn't really complete, and was more of just an extended preview. Also, I thought there was a weird focus on eye color which really wasn't a big part of Nazi ideology and seemed out of place. It seemed like the protagonist thought that Nazism would continue long after, even though they'd achieved their goal and they no longer needed a scapegoat, so it was weird.
As well as this, the protagonist seemed eerily jaded towards Nazism, even though he would've grown up at the height of an empire and been subjected to propganda all his life, so I don't really understand why he's not a loyal Nazi.
I loved the interesting take on alternative history, with Hitler being killed in an obvious coup by Himmler, and the new world it created.
The grammer and such was superb, as well.
All in all, quite a good and interesting story, although there were a few plotholes and such, but well done.

Pretty good, first experience I played. I got endings 1, 2, & 4. I couldn't find ending 3. Pretty boring ngl, but a good way to kill time if your bored.

Interesting premise, but the ending I got was so anticlimactic. I just left the museum and then it badically just said, "And then you lived the rest of your life and died. The end." It's like it went straight from the prologue to the epilogue and just blew off the whole story. Lame.

But really, you shouldn’t have 5 no-choice jumps in a row if every page is 2 lines. And don’t put numbers in choices either. I get that it’s because you have multiple pages named the same thing, but having “Ben 2”, for example, as a choice, looks weird.
The story itself was slightly interesting, but not that well-written, and the ending was unsatisfactory. 2/8.

Well, this was very interesting indeed. A dystopian future where the Nazis won. Unfortunately, I had to click through about 20 one-link pages and that's what has brought your rating down, really.

It's very good, but 'To be continued' endings always get lower ratings. This could easily be 7/8 if it was only complete. I do love your writing style, though- It wasn't too heavy and it gave just enough description.

Good idea, but I hate to be continued. Absolutely hate it. Make a okay first story, doesn't have to be long. Then, make another set in the same timeframe and universe.

I thought it was okay, but I think it needs a sequel where you can lead your people to war against the Nazis. WWIII.

Quite interesting and original, it reminds me of the Richard Harris novel Fatherland which is also set in an alternative history world where the Nazis won. V interesting and I would definitely like to read more of this :D

Not much choices, but this is interesting. It would be much better if I can be a resistance fighter of some sort and the whole storygame becomes like Wolfenstein.
