For people inquiring about my name, it is my brothers name and mine fused. I also love post-apocalyptic stories and games. First game I ever played here was Ground Zero.

 My hobbies are,

Hiking, Camping, Archery, Reading, Writing, (badly, but I try) Cooking

Pretty much as long as it doesn't pertain to religion or politics, I'm good!

Spiders in my tea? Why, yes!
unpublished

This is my first story game, and in the likely event it is hated, it shall be unpublished by me unceremoniously. I've been playing a lot of Fallen London recently, and was inspired to write something with Victorian overtones. A bit silly, to be frank.

I find a lot of times, my best writing comes from whatever's brewing in my head at the moment. It's pretty unsuitable for larger pieces and imo, a really bad habit tbh

For the P.S. I accidentally wrote that bit twice, thanks! I understand it's hard to coach someone when they're new to a form of writing, so thank you so much!

Okay. That makes sense. So use the spider shit as a hook, then go deeper with it?

I'm trying to create a fucked-up victorian vibe. I really should've expanded on that, maybe?

This is my first storygame, even though I've been reading around here for about 4 years. I'm really stuck on what to do next? any ideas? Thank you.

How do I write a story without seeming too direct? on 12/6/2017 7:34:47 PM

Interesting, thank you.

Yeah, I know that, it's just I can't seem to write in decisions, if that connects? For instance, having a scenario that isn't completely controlled by me. Giving agency is my struggle.

Also, thank you for Ground Zero. I've probably played it 20 times over the years.
