Remarkable work! I must say that I found myself to have immensely enjoyed this storygame. There were minimal issues with grammar, but for the most part this game does well in telling a interesting story.

At times, this story did feel somewhat as if it was on rails, but that stops being an issue towards the end where the choices really begin to effect which ending the reader will receive, so that in itself was pretty cool. I liked that aspect, as it gives this game a bit more replayability with the different endings that are available.

If there's a gripe that I have, it's that while the protagonist's comrades definitely have their own unique stories, I couldn't really find myself being too attached with them, especially since this story is rather short. There wasn't much time to really become acquainted with them as characters. But for the most part, I found them to be likeable.

In the end, this is a solid storygame with solid writing and a good foundation to boot. Though I never have watched the movie that this is inspired by, I am tempted to give it a look, and that's thanks in part to this storygame.

This has definitely made me interested in reading other works from this author as well.

The story is short. However, that is probably because of the fact that it was based off a movie. Otherwise, there were only a few grammar mistakes, and the plot/story execution was pretty well done.

My only concern on the latter was the lack of "fleshing out" for the supporting characters, since it just felt like I was being dictated a back-story instead of experiencing it. Once again, the length plays a factor in this assessment.

With all things considered, I give a 5/8: Not bad.

The background was a bit all over the place. Good story.

It's alright length wise and the story is okay. So I guess it's a 5/8 from me.

Good story - well written. I would have liked it to be a bit longer but a very enjoyable read.

Spend more than two days writing a story for once! Seriously! You have definite writing skill/ability; your stories could be really good if you actually spent more than a day on them. They all end up feeling like first drafts (probably because they are.)

I know you said Seven Samurai inspired you, but it really seemed like all you did was take the movie plot and change the names of the characters, transposing the setting to "generic european fantasy world."

Pretty good. No grammar mistakes as far as I've seen. Wish it were a little longer but the story is nice and simple for good for its length.

Now that I finally got to read it, I must say. I like your contributions to this site! This was a great story, although it was too much of a story. I wish that you would've immersed us more into the story. Also, you should've added more options for the battle scenes.

But overall... it was pretty fun. Next game!?

+1.5 for the details, could use a few more.
+2.5 for the plot, it has a great start and I love it but it is all crammed into a few pages so the plot goes by too fast (in my opinion)
+1.5 for multiple characters that are obviously different from one another
+.75 for correct grammar/spelling (that I saw anyway: also that max I'll give out for that)
-.25 for it being too short to fit all the plot into (as mentioned above)
-.5 for lack of characterization (it's different then having multiple characters)
-.5 for not having context as to why he is there or how he got so good at sword fighting, though I will admit it add a small bit of mystery, though with this much of a lack of context it's just annoying.

Over all, I think it's a 5/8, but it can easily be bumped up to a 6-7/8 with a bit of context, additional detail, and a bit more characterization.
I will also say that this is one of the much better new stories.

An okay story, but quite short and not many choices. There were some grammatical errors here and there, but they didn't take away from the story all that much.

That was pretty cool I must admit. I bet the second one will be even cooler.<3
