In this story game, it was usually right or wrong, with two choices. Running a business is not usually back and white, but has many different situations.Okay, but could use more work and editing.
4/8

I don't foresee the scenario presented in the story playing out in only six months.
While it is entirely possible that other companies would start offering to buy your business in that time, no major company would be seeking you out as a CEO. Why? They want people who can manage a business in the long run. Starting a business and making it profitable in less than half a year is nice, but it says nothing about your ability to sustain and grow a much larger enterprise for a much longer period of time.
Also, while the first six months are vital to generating capital, narrowing the game to that period overlooks one of the things most important to small businesses: taxes. Business organization, accounting basis, and inventory system all affect how a business is taxed.
In addition to the above, there are a few scenarios I would like to have seen in this game:
1. Economies of scale- a larger, more diversified business is starting to manufacture and sell the product you specialize in. They can make your product in larger numbers are far more cheaply than you can. How do you react?
2. Legislation- the city/state you operate your business in has just passed an ordinance/law that affects the operation of your business. How do you react?
3. Expansion- you have an option between two or more capital projects and you must pick the one best for the business.
In conclusion, this is not a bad idea for a storygame, and it is definitely worth expanding on. However, you will need to do a considerable amount of research or enlist a co-author with good business knowledge.

Since the game doesn't specify what the company is, I've decided that it's a triple threat of socks company that only sells socks in packs of three so that if you lose one, you'll still have a pair!
... It's a real thing, look it up ^_^

Surprisingly entertaining despite lack of realism or detail. 3/8

I would stay good start but it was horrible because you added no detail. I wouldn't this a story more like a game that is just based around choices and nothing else.

Hm, you could have used the Variables setting to keep track of Money quite well with this story, it would have been nice to know what sort of business I'm running and have a few named characters in the story but as a mini-game it was ok I guess... would have been nice to know more about my business though as it seemed a bit Godfatherish ("don't ask me about my business Kay").

It wa quite short, and didnt go into a lot of detail or anything like that. I feel like this was more of a rushed prototype that wasn't particularly inspired.

I don't think you quite grasp how businesses are run. An interesting concept though.
