Player Comments on The Castle Escape

The game mechanics are alright and work smoothly without bugs, even if it is a little easy. It was, for the most part, well written. But the story, or lack of it, left me feeling meh. It might also have been nice if there were endings where you leave the castle but with a different outcome where you gain something or something unusual happens.

It was good writing, but ended a bit short. If you had tried to extend this story a bit more, or flesh it out, it could have been an amazing story.

Well, as far as stories go, this isn't the worst thing I've read while I've been here, so there's at least that going for you.

As for the rest, it's pretty boring, there's nothing to catch my interest that much and to add to it, it's pretty short, both in number of pages and of the pages themselves.

As far as first stories go though, this was ok, so good job with that.

There was lots of text and good choices. But, It should have been titled "Castle Maze" instead of The Castle Escape.

I just waited instead of exploring, weird how I escaped by doing nothing. I like that fact and think the story itself is pretty good.

Luckily, I was able to go out. It would've been more fascinating if you let the reader explore more [thus, not showing the way out early on the game]. Also, i'd like to know what was behind the locked doors. :p
