An accomplished horror novelist, John Lake, visits a small town called Quiet Springs with his son after recieving a letter from an unknown source describing the towns mysterious atmosphere and beauty. He hoped that the new setting would provide inspiration for his writing and keep him under the media radar for a while. Upon his arrival, John starts experiencing strange blackouts mixed with dark visions. He ignores the strange occurances until he begins waking up in odd places. He soon finds out that there is something very wrong with this town, it seems all to familiar to him. Whats worse, his son has gone missing and the town insists he came there alone. John Must fight to survive and sustain his sanity if he ever hopes to unravel the mysteries behind Quiet Springs. To find his son, John must enter The Dark Place.
