Don't ya just hate it when you get locked out of your house and have to figure out how to get back in? Well, now experience it as a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Movie! Help me (Alexp) get back in to my house!
Warning: this is our team's first movie. And I'm doing the acting.

It's time once again to help me (Alex P) get back in my house. Don't worry, this time it'll be very easy. And short.
I actually have my key this time ...

Help me, Alex P, find my way back in my house. Again.
Note that this is an Interactive Movie experience, so you'll probably wan't to use broadband. Or be very patient on dial up.
You play as my girlfriend (Katrina T) and find out what it's like to be proposed to by your boyfriend of five years. This is actually a true story and really happened. Don't worry, there's no way to lose and all paths lead to the same place. But it's a fun story no less.
Er, hey Dan Videc, you're in my game!

Oh, now that i thnk about it more... from a "strategic" standpoint, I think we do want active members --- even if they don't contribute beyond no-comment ratings and clicking the daily point. Reason being... they tell 10 of their friends how awesome the ste is, and eventually, we find the next great author through word-of-mouth.

You know, I don't think there was much thought into this when we came up with it...
So, this this is mostly my 2c after thinking about it in response to the thread :-)
v20130001 - Minor Update, More Sneak Peaks
on 2/23/2013 12:07:28 AM
Didn't have much time to play around in the code tonite, but I made a couple quick fixes:
fixed bullet and other odd forum post spacing
toyed with new homepage and new storygame list pages a bit
set Max Length on Subject line of forum posts to 50 instead of just chopping them off in the dataase
Eternal Unrated
on 2/23/2013 12:06:03 AM
Ah, weird - there's a nightly job that runs to recalc ratings, so maybe it failed one night.
If you do end up making some minor changes / updates and republish, then let me know and I can revert the publish date. That feature (reset all ratings) was designed to give authors a chance to improve bad ratings... not penalize them for fixing them for maintenance!
