On your way to Ipswitch, Massachusetts, smoke begins to pour out of the engine of the bus you are riding. The driver decides he should pull over and make appropriate repaires. He decides to stop at the nearby town "Innsmouth".
As soon as the bus turns into the town square, you can immediately tell something is different about this town and the people that live here. Something very frightening...
It's one in a million...
What does eternity look like?
" No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water."
-H.G. Wells

They came from across the vast gulf of space. It took only hours for them to destroy the world's superpowers, days to kill fifty percent of the world's population, and a split-second to change your life forever. But 'They' aren't the only things you have to worry about. The world has erupted into complete anarchy, and survival is not something you can hope for anymore...
The Extermination
A retelling of H.G. Wells' classic story.
