" No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water."

They came from across the vast gulf of space. It took only hours for them to destroy the world's superpowers, days to kill fifty percent of the world's population, and a split-second to change your life forever. But 'They' aren't the only things you have to worry about. The world has erupted into complete anarchy, and survival is not something you can hope for anymore...

         The Extermination

A retelling of H.G. Wells' classic story.
