THis is Mazeman! I made the games TRAPPED, The Weird Day, Lost Keys, and The Worst Day of Your Life! Check out my newest games: My Name is Davis and The Day. All my games (except TRAPPED) are ridiculously nonsensical and wacky. Don't play my games unless you have a sense of humor. And don't play them if you just came back from something that made sense. Like a meeting. Or something. Like that. If you came back from a crappy date, play a game and pretend its really you! Im sure you'll find enjoyment ;-)

Well, since ur browsing the stories on this site, I might as well cheaply and undecently plug my games. My games are listed under Mazeman and The Gaming Guy. All of them are found in Everything Else, Modern Adventure, School-Related, and my game TRAPPED is under Mystery/Puzzle.

re:Choose your Own Adventure.... Award Show??? on 3/3/2004 7:46:31 PM
Yeah... i suppose it was a little extreme. Keep in mind that i was eating porridge at the time though.
I suppose we wouldn't want to make any newcomers feel left out. I also suppose that I should stop saying suppose. I suppose so.
Okay, in short:
Awards Show = Too extreme, too soon, and THEY ALREADY HAVE ABOUT 50 MILLION AWARD SHOWS OUT THERE!!!!

Porridge = Makes you think about dumb ideas (ever wonder about what the guy who invented the scooter was eating when he came up with it?)

Saying things with an equal sign after them = a waste of time, so why I am I doing it?

Choose your Own Adventure.... Award Show??? on 3/2/2004 9:51:18 PM
I was eating porridge (Campell's, not Progresso) the other day and I thought of an idea for this website.
"Oh... the inconsistent, name-changing reoccuring man has an idea!" you say. Well, you may be right, and I have a feeling this is one of those ideas that you see with no posts after them, buried under countless other threads. Anyway, here's my idea:
We have a Choose Your Own Adventure Award Show!
Y'know, you'd have "Best Game", "Best Game Creator", "Funniest Game", "Most Serious Game", "Best Crime Game", "Best Quiz Game", and the coveted "Best Game With A Title That Has A Vowel To Consenant Ratio of 3:1".
You could have nominees also. The only difference between this and any other award show would be that the choosers of the award wouldn't be shrouded by mystery and contreversy. At least, I think so.
You could just have a link on the main page, and the link would have all the nominees of the subject, and then the winner. Make the winner in Italics. Or maybe Bold. Don't do Stike-Thru though. I hate that.
If you print this idea and use it as toilet paper, I understand. After all, I did think of it while eating porridge. Porridge, for god's sake! Who eats that?

re:Solostrike, Billy the gaming guy, Flesh n blood on 3/2/2004 7:42:34 PM
well, the gaming guy is the game guy, and is also Mazeman. Me!
Also, the Lost Keys game is by me, not by cypsid.
But I have no affiliation with Flesh n Blood.
In short:
Gaming Guy = Mazeman
Lost Keys = made by mazeman
Old Navy comercials = Once you see one start, turn off the TV

3 cheers for march and alexp on 3/1/2004 8:24:45 PM
Hey, March and Alex P, and everyone else who is working on this site, I just want to say good job. This is a truly awesome website--- it lets you use your imagination and creativity. And it wouldn't be possible without you guys working you butts of to make this site great.

off topic message. on 2/29/2004 3:49:08 PM
This may be a little off topic, but Homestarrunner rules. I just wanted to post that.

re:You know what the site needs?... on 2/28/2004 11:48:35 PM
Yeah. And it's happening all over the site. Take a look at the Edutainment section. People research, take time to get information, and make a clever game. Then some moron makes a "story of a dubir" game and ruins it. Hey. Dubir. Hahahaha. Oh man thats funny. I bet the only other person who understands that joke doesn't even go to this site.

re:You know what the site needs?... on 2/24/2004 9:54:01 PM
Good idea. This website needs those features to make it fresh and exciting. And what's the deal with those two paged, inside joke games that say "Banana!" or something and then its over? I hate those! People spend a lot of time working on a game and trying to make it good, and those stupid short games are ruining the quality of it.
