Genetic modification is a popular thought in science fiction-but what if it were real? What if you really could modify, well...everything? What if the surgery in Flowers For Algernon was real? And the technology developed?
This is a question asked by scientists back in the 70's, after IET (Intelligence Enhancement Technology) was perfected. A lot of time has passed since then, and the technology's only gotten better. You are a scientist working in the ET Labs (Enhancement Technology), a string of labs around the country working to give humans total control over their bodies. Since then, IET became a common surgery given at birth and adolescence. However, MET (Muscle Enhancement Technology) is becoming more and more popular-and more and more dangerous.
