I LOLed at the necro, but I used to read it a long time ago, and I got really into Rick Riordan's follow-up series, Heroes of Olympus when it was coming out. I had like, all of the books he's written in that general anthology, but after trying to revisit it I realized that I had outgrown it.
Nevertheless, when I lost everything I owned recently I still mourned the loss of all my books, I even had a signed copy of that one book Riordan wrote, Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, and I cherished that for a while.
So, to answer your question, yes, I used to be, but not anymore. Not until he starts writing more mature material within the subject matter (which I doubt, since his fanbase relies on the younger audience). I did enjoy Heroes of Olympus more than any other book series he's written within the last decade or so.
