AMAZIGN BOOK.  Read it on my flight home today.  375 pages in two hours. phew. My favorite book. Its called something else but its the 5th in the series.  6th will be coming up, its tottally open ended.

Oh, darn. I hate open ended books.. It's a shame that Commander Root isn't in it yet. Do you know what it's called, I'll go and find out where it is.

There will be a sixth book. They just left number five without a conclusion, so they'll need another book to finish it off.

Nice! I thought it ended in the fifth book, so I got disappointed, but I'm not anymore!

I thought it ended in the third book. I reckon they shouldn't have made any more after that. I've yet to read the fifth book. Is it good?

Well, he's finally being challenged by two genius, one who artemis took down already (opal), and the other is artemis. He's being outsmarted by artemis, so maybe he's getting discourage.

I hope he isn't getting discouraged, I really liked his attitude as opposed to everybody elses. All the characters were unique, but when Root died, they all started to sound the same.

Pfft.. Private Detective.. what kind of name is that? She (Holly) gives herself missions now, what a shame. I hope they don't bring Opal back again. Three times is too much.

I don't necessarily want the end of Artemis Fowl, I just liked the ending of the third book and reckon they should have stopped there, or changed the ending of the third and made the seventh or whatever have a really good ending. The story just seems so fulfilled by the third, and then it starts all over again.. I don't know how to explain it but I hope you know what I mean.

I KINDA know what you mean. But, then what about our question, when will Artemis meet up with Holly and remember everything again? I hate memory erasers thingy.

I have to agree with JJJ, I do not want the Artemis Fowl series to end this fast.

I don't like the ending of Artemis hugging his mother that much, I reckon the third book should have ended up with Mulch reading Artemis' note. That would have made a great finish.

Yeah, that was a great ending..Maybe the third book should have been the sixth and vice versa?

Nah, because the fifth book leads onto the sixth. Good idea though.. maybe if it went like this:

One - Stays the same
Two - Stays the same
Three - is book 6
Four - is book 5
Five - is book 3
Six - is book 4

Unless five and six have reference to the earlier books, it should work out, if it was able to happen.

jjj, are you talking about the Lost Colony?

i just read it on sunday, artemis fowl is one of my favorite series but only about to like the third book because the first book starts off fine, then the maturity level or the age group it targets gradually decreases through each book, like the last colony is a book that i would not recommend to my parents, however,i would recommend the first one... see what i mean? and yes, number 1 was my favorite! is there gonna be another book after the Lost Colony?

Well it depends. I think JJJ said the Lost Colony is open-ended. If it is, then Eoin would definetely make a sixth.

You know, I really need to read The Lost Colony.  I'll have to borrow it from my friend.  From what I've read of this forum, though, I think you're right in your interpretation, October.

I would like to see a sixth. I don't want the Artemis Fowl series to end in the fifth book. I like the way Eoin Colfer writes.
