I was wondering. The length bar that appears next to all storygames; does it scale logarithmically or linear?

You mean the length rating?

I helped design the formula, it's pretty complex.

Just the bar graphic. It looks like it scales logarithmically.

Oh that, there are eight graphics, one for each length. So if it's an 8, it shows the graphic for the 8.

How is the length calculated?

There's a whole bunch of factors, the most important is:

Total Pages
Words Per Page

but links and a bunch of other things factor in too. It's a points system, certain things gain you points and certain levels require certain points.
