Questions about a storygame? Thoughts on Eternal? Any other IF you're playing out there?

Should I or Shouldn't I?

Ok I want your opinion! Should I make a sequel for Mind Games or not?

Please tell me why, without just "It was rubbish". I need your feedback and if it was a good story line plot or not. I might make another one, which would be more action orentiated but with the same general theme.

Note:

Please Please don't post the plot story line. If other people do look at this post without playing the game first I don't want them to find out the story line first. Keep the comments general like "I like your style of writing when you used similies."

Or "You didn't use enough puncuation" ect.

If you have a good idea for a plot, then go for it. An idea should never be forced, and if you want to make a sequel just for the sake of having a sequel then don't. However, if you do have a good idea for a sequel, then I would want to see that as I felt the story in the first one was quite interesting.

If you're going to make a sequel, make sure it stays true to the original, but brings in fresh, new ideas that will still keep readers coming. Some sequels make me want to punch babies, like Men in Black 2, or The Lion King 2.

Yea, exactly what the other people said. If you are sitting there saying to yourself 'Oh! I have this awesome idea of another plot that could happen after this one!' then use it for sure. Don't just decide you want to make a sequel and then try to make something fit into it, because it won't be as good and its the reason people generally hate sequels.
