Player Comments on Chuck Norris Chasedown

Going into this story, well, the premise is tough and scary. You’re going to chase Chuck Norris? I don’t think that’s how it works. You can chase Chuck Norris only if Chuck Norris wants to be chased! After all, it IS Chuck Norris. But, we will see how it goes.

On the first page, I’m wondering where I might see Chuck Norris. I have to invite players. I don’t understand. Are there more players than just Chuck Norris and me? Am I supposed to create a map and ask Chuck Norris to collaborate with me? And wait, this is a trivia game now? It seems like this story suddenly has absolutely nothing to do with Chuck Norris. I’m disappointed and relieved at the same time, but I expect Chuck Norris to appear on every page from here on out.

Oh wait, on the next page, there’s Chuck. He has a gun, I don’t think I want to follow him. But the rules seem simple, even though I know I can’t win against Chuck Norris because no one can.

After that, it was a nice quiz. The lines that went with the wrong answers were okay, but it would have been nicer if there was recognition of correct answers – since I got the first few right, I didn’t even know there were other options. The Chuck Norris jokes are pretty good for the wrong answers. However, I really have to question the premise that I can actually beat Chuck Norris at the end. I think a more realistic ending would be that I attempt to confront Chuck Norris, he completely kills me, but then his head explodes from Chuck Norris fighting off the Chinese programming.

I'm trying to read through all the published games on this website, and that means dragging myself through a lot of garbage. For some reason the degree to which this game blows offends me. I hate this and wish to see a day when it will be unpublished.

This piece of crap was rated a top-ten story for 2010, but ranked 435 overall. That must have been a dismal year for the site...

Also, I personally don't understand what the point was of the first 7 or so questions as they didn't impact where you went on the eighth one, and you didn't tell us what the answer was either.
Truthfully, I feel like I should have been bankrupt by the third question and then I lost $200 in Kansas City. I guess the jokes were funny though.

So I was clicking my way through the answers and I managed to win. But I really question myself on if I really did manage to answer them all correctly, because I didn't know any of the answers.
It would be nice to see all the solutions at the end as I didn't learn about anything in this storygame.

Yeah, combined with the prejudice and discrimination against China, you LOSE! Horrible game - one of the worst I have encountered.

I don't see any humor, the story is meh, the jokes (though I do appreciate a good Chuck Norris quip) are bland, the details are near to nil.

Grammar seems pitch perfect, though. However, not only good grammar does a good story make.

I do hope, you'll take the advice, because to be honest I've chosen my own boredom here. 3/8.

I will be honest and say I do not see how this is rated 5/8. Although some might find this amusing, I do not, it seems bland to be honest, though it does have little to no grammatical errors so there's that.

I thought you said you can't lose. I lost twice.

Actually, the idea was pretty nice. I guess I feel mediocre about this... but it was cool.

The random Chuck Norris jokes and your own bit of humor really helped this game. Sadly, I don't feel the rest of the story quite made up for it. It was really confusing and I didn't even know if I got the question right at all.

Excellent originality, I thought this was ingenious and I gave you a six purely for innovativeness. This is the highest I've ever rated a quiz, so thanks for the contribution to the site.
