This is an unfinished story, started in hopes of winning the Cyberpunk contest.
Being my first, I learned a lot of HTML & everything else.
Only two chapters are presented here. The first was meant to familiarize non-gamers with the mechanics of a game like this, while also protecting them from the anxieties that can come with actively participating in a narrative.
The second chapter definitely has more freedom, but is still impossible to get wrong. I have 9 chapters outlined. Chapter 1 was my trainwreck introduction to creating a CYOA so it needs a lot of work (& it's boringly verbose.) Chapter 2 is closer to the feel I'm looking for but still nowhere near complete.
I really cared about really participating in the contest, but, despite this story waxing more sci-fi than cyberpunk, I do care about finishing it & letting it have a life of its own. But for now I'll stop writing for a week & let everyone read this Work-In-Progress. Quob knows that there are many an unpublished narrative on here, so hopefully this is a helpful peek behind that curtain.
It would please the author if peeps would refrain from rating this until after it's finished. It would also please the author if he'd never ever refer to himself in the third person ever again eahafowieho ughegf
