I have to confess I had a hard time understanding a lot of this. I got the general outlines, but I was confused by choices like "I'm going to put the trip, and give him what he deserves" or what was implied by "Two wretched cousins ??appear at your side" or what precisely is happening in "The yellow crowd smiling like piranhas, knife in hand looks at his prey with hunger."

It's a good setting for a story, but the writing didn't work for me here, especially the figurative language--I couldn't tell what "the blood flows like coke in a congress session" was a simile for--does coke (meaning cocaine) ooze slowly or move in a flowing motion? Is there a lot of cocaine in congress in this world? Maybe we're talking about soda?
