It wasn't bad, but it could use more words. Each slide had minimal words and minimal choices. If it was a longer story it would be nicer.

One day, I stumbled upon a website https://dragon-vibe.com/. It was a site dedicated to all things dragon-related, from clothing and accessories to home decor and art. I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful dragon-themed products, and before I knew it, I had filled my cart with dragon figurines, dragon jewelry, and even dragon-themed bedding.

Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by dragons. The way they fly through the sky with their powerful wings and breathe fire was always so awe-inspiring to me. As I got older, my fascination with dragons only grew, and I found myself daydreaming about what it would be like to live like a dragon.

This is fun, but i feel like it was a little to short. I know these types of games take a very long time to make tho. :D

I feel like it was a bit too much like Choice of the Dragon in my personal opinion, but it was decent. :)

It's alright. Not very descriptive; very short and quick. I would've preferred a longer more descriptive story; like a short novel or something. Feels rushed. feel free to try it.

It was a good game all around, but I would like it to be longer and more detailed. I think you could also add sound effects and a dragon background. Also, I would like more details on the mates and who would be most likely to love me for who I am. And when there's only one option, I would like it to say "Next" instead. Overall, good game! Loved it all.

As dragon games go this was quite fun. The line "You and your mate go off and have a few eggs" is one that I would like expanded on. Did we have an omelette? A sickness? A naughty lingere-buying trip to Anne Summers? If I was a dragon I would probably hire myself out as a sort of cable car service to the top of Mount Everest and then use the money to buy Hawaii but for some reason that option was not available :)

It's pretty cool and well written.
But just...It's a bit to short. Continue writing or, write part 2.

Huh this looks familiar... No wait, it's almost exactly something I've read before. Heard of something called Choice of the Dragon? This rip off story game of yours is basically word-for-word Choice of the Dragon, just a watered down, less enjoyable version. I don't want to gripe on you for plagiarism, but seriously? Why rewrite it when you can just play the actual game online for free at its original source?

Quite a good little story. A few spelling errors. A decent effort.

I love how this addresses my one gripe with Choice of the Dragon: the inability to successfully attract a mate. Like, the fact that I could have a mate and little dragon children made me really happy. Other than that, It's essentially a watered-down version of Choice of the Dragon.

I actually really liked this, It has a lot of potential if you just work on it a little more, and add to it.

It was...okay I guess.Would of liked it if it was more detailed and had some more action like you fighting against another dragon and having a chance of loosing/winning depending on what you do in the battle.Not the best spelling ever,but it was pretty long,longer then most of the other ones I have played anyway.

Also, I'm ... almost 100% positive this person saw my admittedly rather critical review of the first one, because they specifically addressed some of my grievances and in the manner I suggested, which is interesting. =|

Let's talk about the good: There are more customization choices than there were in the first clone. The grammar and spelling are not ... atrocious. For a first game, this is a good try, especially in comparison to recent fare. Out of all the games one could copy / clone, Choice of The Dragon is not at all a bad choice. Baby dragons are cute, too, I suppose. I was also pleasantly (confused and) surprised to see you included ... kobolds?

Now, let's talk about the bad: ... -I- am pleasantly surprised to see kobolds. I'm pretty sure no one else on this site (other than James and I) has any idea what the hell you're talking about. You should've either explained what they are or used a more common critter, like goblins, as in the original game. In all fairness, I do applaud you for ... sort of trying to think outside the box.

I am neither surprised nor honestly pleased to see you copy most of the events and even dialogue (if you can call the player choices "dialogue" with the narrator--and I suppose you can,) from the original game. Yes, as I said, it's a good game and a decent idea to cut your teeth on as a new member, but... unless you have the talent to greatly improve on the plot, the customization, to add graphics, or to otherwise do something to really improve or expand on the original, it ... kinda just makes me miss playing the original.

I did notice that you added to the plot by allowing the dragons to have whelps, and sure, babies are cute, but I would've liked the chance to name them, or my pet. Plus, you skimmed through a lot of events without fleshing them out or adding to them. It was like you had a check list of stuff from the actual game and you just wanted to get through it as soon as possible, so you threw stuff in the game without any real attention to detail or effort spent. A battle between a dragon and a wizard, for example, should be EPIC and DRAMATIC. Magic. Monsters. Fangs and teeth and spells. You gave me TWO. SENTENCES. TWO? REALLY? =| I mean, come on, where's your imagination? >_> It's one thing to rip off a concept, but to do so little with it, to do even LESS than copying and pasting from the original, is just a crime.

All in all, I'm sorry, but that's the real problem. I see very little creativity, if any, in this. It doesn't feel original or unique. I've replayed COTD about a dozen times now. It's neither a very long game, nor is it really a great game, but it has a good sense of humor and your choices--while not changing your overall path--still effect the story in interesting enough ways that you want to replay. I ... don't get that feeling from this game.

Also, I really miss the personality trait / attribute bars and seeing how they changed depending on my choices. I don't have that here.

Okay, I can tell you honestly tried to make this a good game, but I still have quite a few grievances.

Firstly, there are numerous dragon sims on this site alone, and while your game is certainly not the worst, it doesn't contribute anything new or interesting. You promised a chance to fight over territories, so it would have been cool if you added an RPG element to the game, whereby you could level up your dragon and fight against other dragons for their territories.

Secondly, most of the choices had little significance in regards to the progression of the story. Hell, when you choose to eat the "Cobalts" (which I assume were supposed to be kobolds), you end up enslaving most of them after you fill your stomach. Not to mention that the character's physical appearance isn't brought up again after the first two pages. I'm guessing by the obvious lack of gender variables that you didn't bother using variables for the scale color and wing texture either. If that's the case, then what was the point of giving the player the option of customizing their character?

My final issue with this game involves the progression and lack of depth. You have kids, then presumably die of old age two pages later. I mean, we don't even get to know much about the character's progeny before gladly handing over the kingdom to them?

Still, the last dragon sim I played involved the character inexplicably acquiring a goblin army without the knowledge of the player. I have even played one where you can somehow contract rabies from a wolf, despite the fact that you, as a reptile, should be incapable of contracting rabies. So, this obviously isn't the worst game of its class. Still, you should strive for originality and choice in your future games. 4/8.

If you were a Dragon, I don't think you would have a choice. More options are always nice though.

This basically a worse version of 'Choice of the Dragon'. The humor is gone, and the choices are lacking greatly. The writing in general wasn't great either.

That was really good! But I think that there should have been a lot more bad things happening. After all, a dragons life isn't always perfect, you know! Maybe you should make another story with more details and more possible endings. Also, if I were a dragon, my scales would be blue, but you didn't have that option.

As others noted, this is basically a much worse version of Choice of Games' Choice of the Dragon.

Great Storyline (even though it's VERY similar to the game Choice of the Dragon on Google Play- same plot & storyline though the names & order of things were changed). Spelling & Grammar could use work & it would be nice not to skip so much time like ye did & just pick things for us instead of making those things choices (maybe we, as readers, would like to choose the names of the griffon & the names of the hatchlings that we like best.. even if from a list). The storygame is WAY TOO SHORT, though it's a very good start.

There were a few typos, and nothing really exciting happened. And what exactly are Cobalts?
