"Slightly more fun than homework" is a pretty accurate description, considering this quiz makes me feel like I'm actually doing homework, but that aside, I think this was a very well thought out and thoroughly researched quiz. If this was some kind of school project, then I hope your teacher gave you an A.

I do think that the quiz could've been improved if you'd added a page at the end that tells the player what the answers are and what their score was, but other than that, for what this game is, I think you did a really good job. ^_^

gave it a 5/8
wasn't bad but it didn't show me how i did and It doesn't tell you if you got the question write or wrong. It would be nice after answering a question if it told you if you were right or not. I would have liked to have learnt something while playing the game.

More correct answers than several others I have seen. Answers given as correct on others quizzes often are not.

Not a bad little quiz Also, Custer was a LTC and was paid as such. Major General Brevet or not was paid 8000.00 per year, not bad. The Brevet rank used for questions of who is in command. Beenteen and Reno hated Custer yet per senority they had to be assigned to command the other elements not with Custer. The Indians won.

The first question actually has two answers. Custer's official rank was Lt. Colonel, but he also held the brevet rank of Major General and was paid as such.

As a lifelong student of this battle and the Plains Indians Wars, I enjoyed this trivia game. I was amazed many years ago to find a namesake of mine served in Company F and was a KIA! I have visited the Little Bighorn Battlefield once, but I desire to go again, perhaps without the impediment of my wife's limitations. I would love to ride the 7ths' trail and even live out there for awhile, but with a six year old and non-interested wife, that is unlikely in the near term.

I once took a test on this site, years ago, that completely kicked my butt! This test is ok for the general reader, and a good way to stimulate interest in the subject. Those of us that are obsessed with this subject most likely find it "trivial". Your list of books on Custer did not list Ronald Nicols' "Men With Custer: A biography of the 7th Cavalry June 25, 1876". That is a shame, because this very informative book would be of great interest and usefulness to the serious student! Unfortunately, the book is a limited addition publication, and used copies can cost $150! It is available to read on Questia, the online research web site. You can join for $10 a month and read the complete book. Becoming familiar with the lives of the soldiers gave me a new prospective on the battle. There were some facinating characters at the Little Bighorn, people that no Hollywood writer could invent!

Challenging test for amatuer-average Little Bighorn students. Overall, it was an easy test people more knowledgable about the Little Bighorn. I thought a few questions were optionated, depending on what one's view is toward Custer. Some questions could be used for high school history tests or quizzes. Good job!

I have enjoyed reading about Elizabeth and George Custer very much. I am sure that Bentween and Reno killed Custer even though they did not pull the triger. They ignored his notes and who knows George A Custer maybe have won the battle. It is not certain that they would have won but I would have loved to spend his old days with Elizabeth. My thoughts go out to Elizabeth what a wonderful woman to stick by her man. I do feel bad for the Indians , we pushed pushed them make them hate the white people. They were very gentle people until the white people taught them to be cruel and give them diseases. I feel for both sides. The white people wanted the land that the Indians had.
