No idea what it is based on, but it was superbly written.

You did an excellent job of making the story comprehensible even for someone who hasn't played the game it's based on. As a fanfic, it's quite well written. (A touch melodramatic for my taste, but it's clear from the comments that many people found it affecting.)

As a storygame, I think it could be improved. There was a very long stretch of pages with no choice towards the end, which I think contributed to my overall feeling that it just wasn't a very compelling story. Horrible things happened to Alma. And then more horrible things happened. And then I could choose between screaming and weeping. And then more horrible stuff happened.
I didn't feel as though anything I did would affect the outcome of the story in the slightest.

Kill them all! They all deserve to die!
I would love to see the part 3 or actual game where you play as Alma and take revenge :D

Not bad show's how we automatically assume how monster's are evil just because they are. Yet this story shows how many have been tortured beyond the point of sanity so they don't hurt anyone.

Incredible story, just like part 1. It makes sense with the actual Fear story line. I can't wait until part 3 comes out.

Though my actions did not truly affect the story, I still believe that was the most fun I've had on this site since reading Necromancer when I first joined.

People often don't understand the monsters perspective. They just assume they kill because they are evil. Most of the time there is a reason for their madness. A preditor is hungry so it eats a person, just like a person get hungry and eats a cow. It is only dark and morbid from the prey's perspective. Love this series. keep up with the shattered perceptions.

It's amazing how you manage to hold onto the emotional rage of the character throughout the entire story. It's so dark and morbid, but in a way that captures your attention and keeps it until the end. I for one cannot wait until she gets her revenge!
