The sage's lessons are never finished, for there shall always be more knowledge to attain.
The way of the sage is to teach, and direct.
The sage's council is unending, as the masses of lost and wandering souls never dwindles.
Cosmic understanding is unattainable, but something to be sought.
The sage is a person of wisdom, knowledge, and enlightenment.
The sage follows a path to discover the truth.
This is the way of the sage.

All the factions offer something.
Sages, wisdom and council.
Wardens, reason and order.
Marauders, strength and bravery.
Architects, ingenuity and intelligence.
All are important, and tolerable. They are each needed to keep the equilibrium, and must band together in the name of peace and creativity.

More often than not, you can find me on the Forums, whether it be talking in recent threads or
role-playing in the games writing in the Creative Corner. I tend not write much when it comes to my stories, but I intend on changing that by writing one page every day. I have inherited an unfinished story from Fleshnblood, and have decided to finish what he has started.
Please, spend time with the people you care about before it's too late. Show them that you are there, and you care for them. For all you know, you could be the only light to them in this fractured creation.

The gloom fills my entire being. My soul burns with satisfaction. The gristly powers of my overlord trickle unto me. I have made the right decision. My world revolves around you, Master. I shall do your bidding. I shall bring on destruction at the wave of your hand. I will be the instrument of your internal darkness. I am your puppet, do with me as you will. I am a servant, eager to fulfill your commands. I am the clay of forbidden power, and I await to be molded by your sinister hands. You hold the strings of my life in your grasp, temporaryaccount. I SHALL WAIT UNTIL YOUR GLORIOUS RETURN! YOU SHALL RISE LIKE AN UNHOLY PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES OF YOUR SINS! THAT DAY WILL BE A GLORIOUS ONE! - - - - - Let it be known that on this day, the ninth of January 2017, ZagHero, AKA the original temporaryslave, has ascended himself to the rank of Senior Servant, distinguishing himself from the more recent additions to my imperial coalition. Thank you, faithful underling, for your service, and may you continue to serve the Count Fenrir until eternity's end.
Nope, it's all over now. I have been freed by the passing of my master. May he rest in Oblivion.

Oh, it's relevant in the argument that you can't math sins. I do care about how devastating sins are. You even asked me if I would rather stop gay sex, or pedophilia. I would choose to prevent the pedophilia from happening as it harms a child, and the people having sex are there of their own accord.
If you rape a kid, you're a sinner. You're not a liar, but a rapist. I'd say a rapist directly devastates a persons life, while a lie may have different negative outcomes. Both sins are equal in damnation. I don't walk around with the mindset that anyone is better than anyone else.
No, God was and is prepared for people to fail. He hopes we will succeed and come to accept him, escaping the clutches of Satan. God gives us free will, but also a conscience; the ability to know right and wrong. We sin of our own accord, as we accept Lucifer's lies and give into his temptations. Sin makes people skeptical, and this is what hardens our hearts to the truth.
If you take a look at the bible, God seems to only destroy whole societies like cities (or in Noah's case, nearly the entire world) as no good exists in them. God does not take away free will, but life.

As I have stated, Sins are equally damning, but not as equally devastating.
Okay, let me put it like this. We wear a robe. If we do not sin, the robe is pure and clean. That's good. But sin, is more or less like a stain. You spilled a bit of mustard on your robe while eating a sandwich. Your first sin. Only people with white robes can get into heaven, and dirty robes damn you to hell. You, with your mustard stain, are impure and now a sinner. Lets say you were running outside and got some mud on yourself. More sin. You are still a sinner, but now with dirtier robes. You are no more damned then you are with your first sin.
Jesus, on the other hand, offers to clean your robes. You can accept his offer, and repent and be baptized, so that your robes may be clean.
Why doesn't God stop sin? Good question. Why didn't God choose to create mindless drones who follow his every word instead of living and sapient humans? God wants us to come to him, and spares us for our sins.
"He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities." (Psalm 103: 9-10)
As I have explained in a separate post in the alternate thread where our discussion continues, God has a perfect plan for us. Yet, instead of forcing us to obey, he wants us to choose that for ourselves. He exists out of our understanding of time and knows all outcomes. Not all of those choices and the outcomes that are brought with them are apart of his plan. He knows that we may not repent, and ignore him, but hopes we will see what is right.
Not much has changed other than the fact that people don't have to offer sacrifices for purification of their sins anymore. Now we have Jesus, and only have to repent and put the life of sin behind us and live a new life baptized in him.

I never did hate you. Good luck on your endeavors!

Yet, all the evidence you need has been around you this entire time. Take into thought, God's creation. Think of the most beautiful thing on earth, or even in space. God created that. Do you really believe that this entire universe with its massive stars and planets to the tiniest atoms came to be by accident?
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that people are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)
Ah, but it seems you do know now. All this time I have been explaining to you about sins and God's grace, that you can know the truth, Steve. Understand and know your sins.
"The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkeness, orgies and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:19-23)
God gave them free will, to do as they pleased. He told them to not eat from the fruit of knowledge, yet they disobeyed. As I have explained, God is outside of our understanding of time. He knows all outcomes, but has a perfect plan. Weather or not we go along with that perfect plan is up to us. God planned to have humans in the garden of Eden forever, but Adam and Eve gave into their temptation and listened to Satan.
Steve, you have so much to understand. I love the people around me, and strive to see them as God created them, not as the sinners they are. We must love the sinners, but hate their sin. I love you, Steve in spite of your sin. I love myself in spite of my sin. And I love my family, and they love me in spite of the sin that we see in each other.
"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin." (Romans 7:15-25)
