Could you do some things like for example, when someone clicks a page on a story, it'd make a wiggle or some sort of movement, this could be done on the advanced editor.
I think this takes away from the nature of a CYOA book. It sounds gimmicky to me.
I like it. Not a wiggle, per say, but like in a horror story the next page could come up in a creepy way, like out of darkness or something.
That's even worse, in my opinion. The way that a creepy storygame is creepy is that you feel immersed and in the midst of the author's world. Page effects draw you back to reality and force you to pay attention to the fact that you're playing a storygame and not living in the author's domain.
It will literally accomplish the opposite of what you're aiming for.
