I realize that authors like to retain control of their own stories. In reality, they should just allow readers to read the story any way they like. Authors can suggest, but the entire idea behind CYS is to allow the reader to choose and decide what to do.

Currently in the editor, on the story properties screen, the author can choose to disable and disallow saving for the reader of the story. My suggestion is to simple remove this option from the editor. I'm honestly not sure why the option is there or why authors would want to disable saving, other than in an attempt to make it more difficult for a reader to reach the end of the story. I would suggest that all readers should have the option to save at any point for whatever reason they desire.

Any other thoughts from authors or readers?

Didn't even know you could disable the saves.

Yeah, I don't see any need to allow the option to disable saves.
