Tips and Hints

Visit everything you can before leaving an area, always upgrade your statistics if you can. If you don't you may find yourself stuck.  READ EVERYTHING.  Also visit libraries for important tips on the game.  Getting the most weapons as you can is essential as well.

There are three/four endings.  One of them you don't get to leave comments on.

Death - No commenting.
Bad - Commenting (Score in the negatives)
Medium - Commenting (Score in the positives)
Good - Commenting (Score over 100 Grand)

Do not say this in your comments PLEASE!!!!

I realize that not every link displays a page number.  This is because, previous page links, next chapter links,  and links that have nothing to do with the story get nothing.  DO NOT BASE YOUR COMMENTS ON THIS!!!!

I also realize that its very possible to cheat in many parts of the game.  Deal with it.  Cheaters will be cheaters.

I also also realize that sometimes when you die or win a battle, the events will be hazy.  There are two reasons for this, one I cant reveal as it partains to the story.  However battles in this game are not "hollywood-ised".  Often people die without knowing what happened.  Suddenly your laying there with blood pooling from your arteries and you have no idea what happened.  That happens quite a bit in the game.

The length in this game varies based on your difficulty level and your choices.  It can be anywhere from a length six to a length eight.

The JJJ Challenge

If you either beat this game with the best ending I will send you (via e-mail) a formatted strategy guide of the tower including how to get the best possible score, in the making, secrets of the game, complete walk through, and most importantly G(l)ailes epilogue.

This was a ton of fun to play - each chapter was neatly organized and would have been good enough to be a game on their own, and we get ten entire chapters. The amount of freedom allowed in our choices made the game feel very fluid, as you even have the option to bypass entire chapters or switch to easy mode if the game becomes frustrating. Several places in the game require you to make intuitive leaps of logic, but feel very rewarding when you finally figure out what to do. I felt that score mechanic was also well implemented as it motivated me to fully explore the world and try to get it as high as possible.

The only gripes I have were that sometimes it was hard to see any difference in some of the combat choices, and it seems that the orc highway is slightly glitched as some links are unclickable or loop you back to the beginning of a loop.

All in all, this was an amazing game that was a real treat to play.

This is very impressive -- it definitely feels like a book yet has some very nice interactivity. Well written. As you can see from my score, I did not do so well, but I will try again -- I think there's some definite replayability as I realize I missed a lot of side quests.

I came across a handful of frusterating bugs in the latter part of the game (the Orc negotiating did not work and caused an undending loop), but I did manage to make it through. Few spelling/typos here and there, but those didn't hurt the game play. But, the bugs/typos did more it away from a perfect 8. Still, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Bravo! I think this is your best game by far. I explained in the forums how Mattias was childish, this is more mature and enjoyable. Some scenes were rushed, and it seemed as if more could have been done to them. The ending was really a downer considering it took me 45 minutes to play through. I gave it a 6/8 mainly because of the ending. I think i have the "good" ending so thats not such a downer lol. I would not consider it an epic. I also mentioned in the forum that the Track was buggy, and your death scenes need to be more realistic. I know you said not to mention it in the comments, but honestly, it does weaken the game, if you like, i can discuss with you how to make it seem more realistic.

Overall: 6/8 Well Done!

Finally beat this game, there was a glitch at the part where when the trolls try to tax you, and you get killed, you get stuck in an endless loop instead and your vitality is set to 400K, had to use the back button to escape.

Really good, the writing is probably one of the best of all the stories I have read. I like the way it plays out and I appreciate the effort put into this story to make it stand out as better than other stories.

It was really great but a sad ending for me??

It was great - but I’m really bad at this one. It was very well made - and I died a lot of times!

Did everything perfect after a couple tries. Love the game!

Good game, seemed incomplete as there were a lot of recurring loops and links to places that were ultimately unnecessary, and quite a few typos. Still I look forward to playing Part 2.
