ME:

CYOA: Guess you can say Edward Packard was my inspiration to write I loved his CYOA Books. My favorite I'd have to say is Hyperspace because you actually meet him in the book. Which I do include in my writings now. Every now and then I will pop in and make an appearance. I write as a hobby and would actually like to some day bring back into publishing a new type of CYOA Series. It seems the market is out there for it.

My Stories: I have been another member on a different site where most of my stories have been action related, along with one scary and a couple of others. I like to write all kinds of different types but since most experiance comes from being a cop and military I find action stories easily written. I am not a big fanatic as others are on spelling and grammer. On a web site I write to have fun, It's not like i'm sending it to a publisher.

Your a Police Investigator in a small quite town of no more then 8000 people. The town silence you'll find to be horribly interrupted when a death count rises from zero to 13! As the number count climbs you must do everything in your power, as a Police Investigator, to keep this small town alive and away from the brink of panic and fear!

About the Author:

I'm a 34 yr old retired cop, who served 6 years on the force working and investigating several level of crimes from Felony Assaults with Intent to Kill, to writing traffic tickets. Also was assigned to work undercover for 4 months and worked in SWAT and Special Task Force Unit.

Prior, I served four years in the USMC Infantry. In the past most of my stories were action/adventure with enjoyment in writing Horror. I grew up in the 80's nearly reading every CYOA book! My style of writing is writing about what I now, so don't be to surprised to find me the author of a police story that may contain some content of actual police experiences I came across in my years of service.

And be warned, police reports are the worst in grammar, and thanks to spell check you can hopefully get past the bad spelling.

You are part of a Special Forces unit trained in several types of military issued weapons. Everything from a .45 standard issue handgun to the M-40 Sniper Rifle. The General has chosen you for a Top Secret Black Ops Mission. To infiltrate the cuban border and seek out plans for a new missle warhead, and if you come across any military leaders to take them out, however if you are captured the Government will deny all facts that you are part of US Forces and will do nothing to bring you home. Good Luck Soldier!

Wow!

I breezed through the stories to see what styles of writing out there and I have to give a big thumbs up to the site and it's very creative writers! I came over from infinite where i used to be a huge contributor of stories, it was a great site and haven't been over there in a long while except to retrieve message Pm's but I have to say there are some very nice lengthy stories here. I sometimes feel cheated when the first page has only one sentence and ten choices to follow, but that's my own personal taste, but here it seems writers put a lot of thought into their stories making a great amount of quality and quantity. I cant wait to write a story! I just hope it's as good as the rest.

Anyway, I enjoy reading and writing especially these type of game books. I haven't been actively writing in quite awhile but look forward to contributing something to the book shelf after I read a few stories, so point me in the right direction and suggest some good stories to get me started.

Look forward to chatting with everyone here!

Be warned my spelling is bad, but now with Spellcheck....wooohoooo!!

i bought book after book of the orginally series Edward Packard was the best. My favorite was Hyperspace simply because of his appearance in the book.

As far as insperation goes alot comes from when I was a police officer and was in the military. I like action adventure but can really get into any kind of story. My goal is to bring back into publication a series of CYOA Type books. I even remember writing a story back in the 80's when the CYOA held a contest to see who can write a CYOA Book. There were several series of books I played some where you had to keep track of your stats and the corner of pages were numbered randomly and acted as dice when you flipped through that would be your dice roll. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, I've ben looking for the name of these. anyway these books is where I get my ideas.

Well I originally came from CYOA Online story engine from shapebyforce. I'm not knocking it or saying it's better or worse in anyway. I visit many sites and write in many site and even trying to write my own novel. Si I see getting views from all over the web is beneficial rather than just sticking to one site. But to answer your question it is the CYOA Online Story engine. They have manygreat writers as I'm sure you will find on this site.

I look foward to reading storys here and adding a couple of my own to the library.

My Intro on 3/11/2004 3:31:04 AM
Hello everyone just a simple intro. Basically grew up on these damn addicting books and know find myself writing them. I have written stories on simular pay sites and read a story that had a battle of two sites and thought I'd sneak over here and see what this site is all about. I look foward to browsing the stories on this site and tossing in a few. Also look foward to meeting new people here as well.
