The Secret of Daphne

This was definitely a truly entertaining read. I found myself drawn into the secrets of Daphne, wanting to read on to see what would happen next. Wanting to learn more. And with each new bit of information that was uncovered, it made me eager to read and learn more.

I enjoyed the use of the objects, although a couple of them, I wasn't sure exactly what, if anything, I was supposed to do with them. And the nightmares were so incredibly creepy to read. They were vivid enough to stick in my mind.

Unfortunately, I did find it somewhat difficult to suspend my disbelief at first, due to the constant switching between past and present tense throughout the narration. It took longer than normal for me to become fully absorbed because the tense changes were pretty distracting. That is the only real improvement I would recommend, though.

While I think I uncovered most of the secrets of Daphne, I would like to revisit this storygame in the near future, in case there was anything I missed. I would recommend this as a good, intriguing horror storygame with a fascinating mystery to solve and some very descriptive language that kept me reading once I got fully absorbed into the story.

Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I loved the game. Hunting for all of the items was a lot of fun, while the nightmares were simply disgusting. I literally felt like puking during some of the sequnces.
While there were some errors grammatically (and a small bug with the code) I never felt hindered by them, and I was swept into the story, often thinking that the whole thing was happening to me. (and I'm one of those people who find it hard to become the protagonist when she's female)
The item usage was good, and it really hid a bunch of stuff. While the salvation ending was great, I actually enjoyed exile more for some odd reason. That shows that the story is enjoyable for any group, and the good endings are definitely worth playing again. (And the bad endings are certainly worth playing through.) The rating I gave it is 8/8.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the pages ended up in a sort of jumbled order at times, you went back and forth with past/present tense once or twice, and some links seemed to be restricted for no reason, but overall I thought it was a great storygame.

I gave it a 8/8, and got the best score (finding all the evidence and getting the best ending). Though, I think I'll go back and get a bad ending or two, since others seem to be saying they were pretty gruesome.

I also laughed harder than I should have when you scream obscenities at your 4 year old sister.

I liked the interactiveness of the story

This is an excellent story and I really enjoyed it. I thought most of the characters were very well written. I did notice a few weird things tho.

There are a few typos here and there. Not enough to ruin my experience of course but the numbers scratched on the desk in the attic were different when you investigate and when you are actually trying to input the number.

A number of items that I had collected had disappeared at a certain point of the story.

After I had visited the demon's feeding area underneath the cemetery, the game led me back to an older conversation I had already had with Blaire which felt kinda weird

Even with all this, I still thought this was fantastic. Thanks for publishing :]

Oooh I thought I got all the endings but just found another! Really scary and disturbing. :O Makes me endlessly curious.

Yes, I finally found the other endings (other than Murderer)!

Really exciting but ahhh I can't figure out the numbers.

This time I survived but there are still unsolved parts! I must find them all!

Wow this was very exciting! Lots of possibilities. Will play again to uncover everything. I died too soon.
