I want to have a map in my inventory how do I make it so that the map actually works, and then returns you to the page you are currently on? In my story using the map takes you back to the very first page of the entire story. Any help is appreciated.
Have you set the page that is linked to when the map is used?
Yep, you need to set the default page of the item to be the map page with a link to the previous page. If your map is interactive, then it gets more complicated. You can't avoid reading the scripting articles for much longer hehe... ;)
lol Its not interactive I just want it to pop up for reference then close and continue to the story.
When you make a link you can make it always go to the previous page, would giving the map page such a link solve your problem?
I believe so, but I wouldn't know how to set that up lol. The only reason I even switched to the advanced editor was to have the map feature. :)
There's literally a link called "previous page" you can use lol.
Press "add new link" not "add link to new page"
It gives you the option to add an end game and leave comments link, a previous page link, etc, etc.
