i know that ive rated atleast Braak the Briton an 8 a long time ago, however, when you look at the ratings it doesnt have an 8. i believe that Godslayer also said that he rated it that. please look into this. otherwise there is no reason to have ratings.

I agree with you -- Braak should be rated higher. And Havaco is also right, the ratings are thrown out of the equation b/c they are outside of the standard deviation +- 0.5.

I will, however, reavaluate this formula. Right now, member ratings are weighted 5x higher than anonymous ratings. I'd like to change this so that certain users (read: Me, March, Choco) are weighted even higher.

maybe im not understanding... what i was trying to say was when i went to the page that listed the ratings for  a game there was no 8s recorded. im not talking about the overall rating. just the listing of individual ratings... of course im tired right now so i could be misunderstanding what you guys are saying...sorry.
