MAG trading card game

I was thinking of the pokemon and yugioh cards, and i wonder if you could have MAG cards with cysid or a member's avatar on them.

If you build a battle system for them you could use them for duels.

The pokemon cards are especially good to emulate. they could be bought with exp points and should be interactive like pokemon (customizable attacks/traits).

They should go up levels as well (like the pokemon gameboy game)

I also have a name for the "pokemon-style" things: Cysi-bots

nah, I think it should be a really simple system. A card has a number from 1to 100. Highest number wins. Except 1 beats a 100 to make things a little fairer. So, yeah. It should proably be more collecting than actually playing. Oh, itd be cool if you could trade other members, and buy booster pack like things with your mag points.

But they need to be fun, like an extension of duelling. October would probably understand...

I have designed a card on the spot: (oh, by the way, A good name would be Cysi-bots)

#1: ALEYSID (alex-cysid)

Description: An uncommon battle robot, the ALEYSID was built to give the smaller, more common robots something to rally around.

Starting HP: 70

Moves: Stomp, Laser Cannon, EMPG, Rally

Type: Sci-fi

No way guys.

There should be a card for every member.  We design a formula to give every card a number between 1-100.  Every day five single cards are on sale.  (Infinite of each).  You can buy those.  Besides those you can buy random cards (so you dont know what your buying and its more expensive)

or what about every member makes 2 cards each mods make 3 and admins make 5.(More can be added as needed)  Have like a second edition card. Make it so that you have one card above 50 and one below 50 but for mods it's 60 and admins 70. Like have one card. Then have like the exact same card except you look different wiht different attacks and stuff

Anyways, I thought the pokemon system would be good to base (ie, rip off), our combat system:

All cards have a name, max HP, description and picture.

The attacks are listed below the information, with attack damage and Energy card cost (energy cards are like ammunition)

It uses an "RPS" style attack system so: Grass beats Water, therefore grass attacks work twice as well and water attacks work half as well.

It has "Poisoned", "Paralysed", "Burned" and "Sleep" states (poison and burn makes the victim lose HP, Paralysed units might not be able to attack, and sleeping units cannot attack for 2 turns)

You can withdraw a unit and sub in another (the withdrawn unit drops it's incapacitacion). This takes one turn.

The game is mostly based on skill, with coin flipping used when paralysed or to determine the outcome of advanced attacks.

You can "evolve" a unit, playing the evolved card over the base card. this takes one turn

Actually, maybe we could use the RPS 25 gestures as types...

These guidelines would make for a nice game (and better duels). The only problem is they would have multiple turns, so we would need to store the information.

I like the idea about people designing their own and I also have a few ideas about that:

A creator's signature

A set of "points" used so the creator doesnt make an invincible card, but is forced to divide the points between HP and attack.

The attacks should be designed by the admins (preferably someone who has used the pokemon cards

Each user below 500 points should design one, each user above should design 3, each Mod should design 5 and the admins should design 7. (designing should be optional, though.)
