Dust off a seat and discuss a good book here...you do read, right?

Catch 22

It's hard to keep all the characters straight, and there is no plot, and it's really, really good.

Extremely amusing as well, despite the darker humor nearing the end. I ended up choosing the book for senior project.  I'm glad that I did, probably would have gotten annoyed being stuck with any other book for a good chunk of the school year. The insanity of Yossarian and crew make me laugh no matter how many times I read it. XD

Hah, poor Major Major, poor McWatt, poor Snowden, poor everybody...  Lots of funny stuff, but lots of morbid stuff too, though. Milo pretty much screwed everybody over.

I kinda liked milo... but that was because I had no idea of what he was doing for a while....

I loved it when nately"s whore decided she loved nately and the guy decided they where gonna be a big happy family....

UNTIL HE FRICKIN DIED

Thats when I started hating milo

and then I started hating major major cuz the chaplain had to pay for what he didn't do and he's like the only good guy jeez!

But she became much more interesting after that, screaming "murderer" and stalking Yossarian with that endless supply of knives and overall being a wonderful role model for her kid sister.

Everything will be alright though, because we still have the syndicate. Everyone has a share in the syndicate. We can eat as much of the chocolate covered cotton as we want. u_u

And I don't know, it was pretty fun seeing all of those secret agents scramble around because of Major Major's "Washington Irving", even if the chaplain got caught up in it. Yossarian was a good guy too...sort of. Dunbar and Orr didn't really do anything wrong either... And McWatt technically only killed someone on accident, so...

...And then there's Aarfy. God darnnit of all of the people to die, why couldn't it have it been that useless oaf? D:

it never really says exactly what the "syndicate" is.

Milo really did screw everyone over

It's one of my favorite books! It's funny, but it gets really dark

however at the veeeeery end (like the last 2 pages) I started getting real giddy cuz everything was looking up

And the chaplain was all like "I'm gonna punch all the captains in the face every time I see them and I'm going to be succesfull at something for once in my life" lol
