It's slowly growing on me more and more. I thought it was going to be a nice, friendly story. I was very wrong. It is astoundingly intricate and unique.

Ah, that book was weird.  It's definitely not nice or friendly at all.

I'd even say it leans towards grotesque. It's really strange how the story portrays humanity as this evil, gritty thing, but still gives the world around the characters this sense of magic. I think it says a lot about the corruption of man when constantly focused inwardly.
