The Circle is a 2013 novel by American author Dave Eggers.[2][3][4] It chronicles tech worker Mae Holland as she joins a powerful Google-like Internet company which starts out as an incredibly rewarding experience, but as she works there longer things start to fall apart as 'The Circle' begins to close.
