Dust off a seat and discuss a good book here...you do read, right?

Angels and Demons better than Da Vinci Code?

I think Angels and Demons was better than the Da Vinci code because Angel's and Demons was more fast-paced, gave a lot more knowledge on the events, the storyline and plot were much more exciting and the characters were great whereas the Da Vinci code was a slower pace because initially they were not under a time restriction, only that they were running from the police, there wasnt as much character development and it was not as exciting. I believe that Angels and Demons should have become a movie instead of Da Vinci code,

Thoughts on this, anyone?

I've read all of Dan Brown's books except The Da Vinci Code, but from what I've seen, everybody's just saying the Da Vinci Code is good because their friends did. I reckon Angels and Demons would be better. It's strange that. After every Dan Brown book I read it became my new favourite.

Has anyone ever read "Foucault's Pendulum?"  I ask because I recently saw a blurb referring to it as "the thinking man's Da Vinci Code."
