I liked the movie, actually. I saw it a few weeks ago when my brother came home from college and I thought it was an excellent story. Sure, it felt a bit rushed with the whole evil vampires thing and the special effects were pretty special - in the bad way - but overall, the acting was superb and it was just fun to watch.

I haven't read the books, but I sorta like the story. It's pretty darn cool.

But I still hate fangirls! >:O

I agree it was rushed. The book takes the story slowly, and like two days after meeting this girl, Edward's all balls to the walls about protecting Bella. Kinda lame ftl.

I picked it up.  I read the opening paragraph.  Closed the book and placed on the table in front of me.  Looked at my friend, pointed at it in disapproval, and spoke:  "Gay."

'Twas only the first of my many Twilight experences - and I don't mean that I tied reading it again.

I picked it up. I read the opening paragraph. Closed the book and placed on the floor in front of me, then I picked it up, walked ten feet and dropped it in the garbage can. I then undid my fly, pulled it out and urinated for a good twenty seconds in the garbage can on the book.

Then, I told my sister it was her turn to take out the garbage, I mentioned that someone put something pretty raunchy in there.
