Well, looks like we need to move on to the original series then.

What is there to talk about in the original series?

Well, what did you think about that one girl who made Annabeth jealous? The red haired one? I forgot her name. Rachael, I think? Rachael Elizabeth Dare?

I thought that he used her very nicely. The temptation she provided and the emotional termorial the process of  becoming a seer provided for the story.

I also loved the addition of Lady Hestia to the gods group. She was written perfectly. She was the quite major goddess of Greek mythology. She was very rarely mentioned but was in high regard as one of the few gods who treated mortals with a fair hand.

I enjoyed Bessie (you know, the half cow half sea serpent animal that turned out to be a male). What did you think of her (er, him) ?

I used my supreme foresight skill and deduce that the cow in the end would not effect the outcome too much. It was just a fun little reference to Greek mythology and held no true value to the story.

I still at least enjoyed having Bessie there.

Like I said it was uneeded but cute part of the book.
