So, this is something I just found out and think everyone should learn about: Modern Family is being remade in Iran under the title Half Sang. A pretty progressive TV Show that helped normalize Gay Couples and Adoption is now in Iran. The names are all different, Mitch and Cam are now a straight couple and infertile because... you know... they're not so great with gays, and Haley's now a guy because there's something about guys and girls not being able to be friends on Iranian TV. I just wanted to let everyone know this is a thing, and it fills me with many strange and new emotions.

Lol, if they’re changing that much why bother using that sitcom as any sort of model then?

They would have been better off using The Middle as a base since it’s a more traditional family sitcom.

I would pay them to transform black•ish to Iran•ish.

I would imagine the Iranian version of black*ish might be Kurd*ish. Them being the minority over there.

Oh right, gotta keep up with my facts.

Odd... Tell me they're still both weirdly effeminate/masculine for the gender roles around there, right?
