I just played a short story Unforgiven, and there was no good ending where you don't die. two endings had you siding with a murderer, one had you and the other good person dying, another had the other good person (seemingly) becoming corrupt and taking your powers instead of removing the cold with the powers she just got. Is there an ending where you win, or do you just lose in everything?

There was going to be a sequel, but the author left the site.

oh. I hope (s)he comes back, they have the rare gift of a great use of mystery(arguably the most important part of a story in terms of keeping a reader interested), even ignoring anything else good about the story. You can tell they didn't put a lot of work into it comparative to the other good books, but it shows almost as much promise as "Necromancer" if you finish it right.
