Yeah, looks like most of us prefer shorter pages with storyline-focused writing. Get to the point, know what the characters doing and get off the boring stuff quickly. Fast-paced, but interesting stories. I believe that's one of the keys for a good rating.
I predict most of the readers prefer shorter paragraphs that are focused on storyline. But many enjoyed EndMaster's works too. I think how interesting the storyline and characters are the most valuable points.
Try to make anything that's 'special' and 'unique' than others storylines. That might grab more attention.
