Questions about a storygame? Thoughts on Eternal? Any other IF you're playing out there?

I'm writing The Order of the Midnight Sun into a novel form and I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet. I don't think my writing is good enough to get published but you never know. Just thought I'd let you all know. I'm at the 2000 word mark, and I'm still on the first page of the CYOA. I'm really fleshing it all out.

Really? Not good enough? JJJ, you have/had stalkers because you're so good. Your book would burn all unworthly souls. No library would be able to contain your raw power.

Anyhow, good luck and I'm guessing you're keeping all the paths and not just the best one. or are you?

Novel format, not CYOA. So, I'm choosing one single path, but it won't follow the story page for page, necessarily. Lot's more characters and more depth. For instance, this starts the day before, establishes the educational system and culture of the town, shows how the country works (and actually gives it a name), etc.

That sounds like a good idea; all the choices can really cut down on the amount of actual writing the readers experience.

Also, it will mean no more mazes! Sweet!

I will play it... soon hopefully.  We're in the no-vacation stretch.  From, I think, labor day to veteran's day, it's like a longass period of time.  After that, the holidays come more frequently and become longer.  I'll get on it then, or before, if I can get a week w/o homework.

lol, I just came out of two 3-day weekends. Should of told me then JJJ :P

Love the summary though, and that's all I look at (plus a few pages inside) when I buy a book. Don't worry though, I'll read it after I finish the main path of the game, maybe. Remind me at halloween.
