I have never completed this game but yes I've played it more than five times. In my view, this is one of the greatest by 3J and I believe this need to be featured because everything is fine and perfect only some spell mistakes are there.

What's everyone opinion on it?

I think all triple-J's stories are feature-worthy, actually. That's not my favorite one, but it's definitely up there.

It is not the problem of whether it should be featured or not; it is a problem of what do we unfeature to replace it.  There are a set number of featured stories. In the fantasy genera this is the list: Mangus: The Betrayal, Necromancer, Deathsong, Innkeeper, Eternal, and Order of the Midnight Sun.

 

So which of those stories do you think deserve to be demoted to let Mattias the one Knight in?

Death Song

Death Song is at least 5x better than Mattias. You can't even compare the two, one was written by an extraordinarily talented adult with a clear grasp on writing fiction and the other by a thirteen year old kid with a stellar imagination who couldn't spell at all.

Death Song is only bettered by Eternal in my opinion. It definitely should not be removed.

In my opinion, there must be more featured storygames. So, that (MtoK) and many others get featured without demoting any of those out and this would be good for future as shortly we will have some more better ones. Including:

Marvel Universe: Secret Invasion.

That totally defeats the point of featuring storygames. The more exclusive the list of featured stories, the more of an honor it is to have them.

Fantasy is one of the most popular genres to read and write. here at CYS i would say its one of the most difficult categories to get a featured Story Game, if not THE most difficult. But i agree that a small list makes for a much more honorable feeling of making the list. IF all story games were featured, it would be pointless.

In addition, I think it's beautiful that the state of featured games evolves over time. Mattias was once a featured story and now it's not because new stories have come out to replace it and that just goes to show that the general trend on the site is a positive one!
