Questions about a storygame? Thoughts on Eternal? Any other IF you're playing out there?

Time within a storygame

Wasn't really sure where to post this, or what to title it. I got another idea for a storygame that I'll probably be extremely attached to for a while, but will gradually lose my zeal for, and with it came thoughts about time passing in the storygame world. I was thinking that the main character of this theoretical, probably-never-gonna-be-made game has a limited time to finish the game. Different things can be done at different times of the day, doing an action will take up a certain amount of time-related units, you can only be in some places until nightfall, and all that stuff. I would make slightly-modified descriptions for enemies and areas based on the in-game time. It seems like working out all of that stuff would be more trouble than it's worth, but sometimes that's part of the fun, maybe, sort of...I guess. On the other hand, it would make playing the game that much cooler. Still, I'm positive that kind of time-passage thing has been done on some other storygames here, but since I haven't played many of the games on this site I couldn't point them out.

Are there any storygames on this site that have in-game time down to at least the hour, or games that have a less complicated but still-effective method of representing time? Do you by chance have any thoughts on this stuff?
