I know there are many genres and whatnot but I'd like to ask people to please tell me which genre they like most!
Or what they think other people like the most...
It's honestly up to personal opinion. Generally speaking though, any story with action. They are story-games, after all.

Ex. Modern, Schoolbased...
Modern Adventure if it contains elements of Urban Fantasy.
Modern, fantasy, horror, sci-fi with some action usually.
Mostly fantasy with plenty of action. Maybe Modern and Sci Fi if the setting is appealing to me.
Write a story you're personally interested in or it will be shit, assuming you can even force yourself to finish. Genre doesn't matter, what people want are good stories.
