Mason wades through a field of grass, watching over the hilltop. His watch scans the entire area, looking for a particular target. There she is. A little girl around the age of twelve or ten skips through the grass. Cancer4Ever. Everywhere she steps spreads her disease, sickening the plants and killing everything. Mason hauls out a briefcase, and takes out parts of a huge railgun. He pieces it together and takes aim. A round charges in the magazine, and releases a devastating effect. Where Cancer4Ever was is a huge hole in the ground, smoldering with only ashes of the cancer.
"My job here is done." He smiles and goes to the Council of Nine office.
Bucky stands there, holding a clipboard. "Let's see....Fordlings spotted near the east gate, Silas spreading havoc....good."
He stops when he sees Mason. "Did you get it done?" He looks at the railgun. "Isn't that overkill?"
Mason nods. "The Cancer is defeated."
He takes the money and goes home. In his sleep he has dark visions. Ones depicting Thara as drunk and Mizal as his sister. Oh, the horror!
Mason wakes up incredibly sweaty and scared. He takes a drink of water in his nightstand, before trying to go to bed again. But there's an eery screech on the window. Taking a small sidearm landed to him by Raven, he sneaks to the door. Taking a peek, he sees nothing.
"It's just your imagination." He says to himself. But now there's a huge crash of breaking glass. Quicky turning, he sees a body has crashed through his window. Aiming the handgun, he slowly kicks the body over on its side. It's Cancer4Ever! Where his shoe had contacted with the body was a burning odor of disease.
"I-I thought you were dead. I killed you." Mason mutters and fingers the trigger.
The body slowly gets up and mumbles. "I am a am a I am a KARATEPRINCESS!" She jumps forward but Mason quickly fires streams of hot lead into her. He disposes of the body carefully and changes shoes.
"Well...that's over." But there's more. Two more Cancer4Evers leap through the window and door. He fires bullets, but it doesn't affect them.
"What....who are you? I killed you, Cancer4Ever!" Mason screams.
"I'm not Cancer4Ever!" One says. "I'm 4EverCancer!"
The other nods in agreement. “Yeah, and I'm Ever4Cancer.”
Three more shamble in! They start yelling “I'm CancerForEver!” and “EverCancer4!”.
“Die demons!” Mason grabs his railgun and blasts them into pieces. He must get to the Council quickly!
Mason jumps into his car and begins to back out of the driveway when a Cancer4Ever jumps on the hood. Mason blasts it with the pistol, and goes full speed down towards the agency. Cancer4Ever’s begin to appear in hordes, screaming and running after him. A Cancer4Ever jumps in his side-seat.
“You're causing more damage than I am!” It screams. Mason shoots it and it flies out, screaming “Remember Charaxes!”.
Millions of Cancer4Evers run after him. He finally gets to the office, and trips over Bucky sleeping on the floor.
“What? Why are you here, Mason?” He says,
Mason ignores him and grabs a bolt, hastily bolting the door close. He looks out the window to see 4Evers tearing apart his car.
“Woah.” Bucky says, looking out the window. “What the hell are those?”
“I...I think they're Cancer4Ever, the girl I killed earlier. But now they're coming in the thousands. I think it's some kind of virus affecting newbs everywhere.”
Bucky looks into the crowd. He's right. They look like mutated newbs. Kinglers, Eshpoye's, and RimCs.
“Wait.” He says. “They're just nobody’s that are already cancer.”
Mason sighs. “I have no idea. You think Axiom or Mizal can explain this?”
“Well, I'll try. Luckily I have the address of Miza tattooed onto my arm.” They sneak out and find Bucky's car, and drive to Mizal’s house. Inside is Mizal and Axiom playing some kind of board game.
“Wait, this doesn't even make sense.” Mizal frowns. “Why would anybody want to play this?”
Axiom shakes her head and throws it into the furnace. “Well, Tim gave me it for a date… ERR, I mean Chris gave it to me.”
Bucky and Mason barge in. “What the hell is going on?” Mizal asks.
“Well, newbs everywhere are becoming Cancer4Ever.”
Axiom looks out the window, seeing the approaching horde. “It seems they are using the forbidden magic of alto-mancy. The first Mage to perfect this skill was Ford Fordly Fordius. He was nearly banished for all eternity by the Great EndMaster!”
Suddenly, EndMaster appears in the house. “Yes, and we must defeat these scum!” He starts boarding up the windows and gathering supplies. “Come on!”
The group starts to prepare defenses, and make their master plan. In the middle of it End becomes incredibly sweaty and nervous. Mizal excuses him. After they are done with their plan, they begin to start it.
“Somebody should check on End.” Bucky says.
“Okay.” Mason replies and goes off to the bathroom. He starts knocking, but nobody answers. He presses his ear against the door. Mason can hear sobbing. He breaks down the door, to see EndMaster crying and leaning over the toilet.
“Hey….are you okay?” He asks.
“Mason, what are you doing?” EndMaster appears behind him. “I just came when I heard Alto-mancy was being used.”
“But if you're there, then who's that?” He points to the crying End. EndMaster and Mason approach to see he's actually laughing, and conjuring a portal for the alts to swarm through.
End blasts the copy. “Ugh, it's more cancer. A Charaxes Cancer alt.” He turns to see millions of Cancer4Evers eating Bucky, Mizal, and Axiom! They tear their faces off, gobble their torsos and molest them. Mason is grabbed by one and dragged away to his death. End tries to run, but they grab him.
None of them come back.
