Your adventure at Damascus High will begin with an introduction to the abysmal bullying that occurs within its walls. Through a vicious act of bullying, you gain extraordinary powers and the ability to get even. What will you do once the tables have turned? How far will you be willing to go, and how much will you risk, to redeem yourself? Can you save fellow at-risk students from the bullies, and themselves?
The examples of bullying are fictional, but loosely based on actual stories of bullying that occurred around the nation. One of these examples was something that occurred at my own high school, which the fictional school is named after. The goal of this story is not only entertain the reader, but to bring attention to: LBGT rights, cyber bullying, body shaming, and teen suicide. It's NOT okay to be a bully, and administrators at schools should never condone bullying in any shape or form.
