Hello everyone, at the moment I am working on a short-ish story about a team of scientists stranded on a planet being stalked by a mysterious alien race, (not even Alien because it's a planet instead of a ship). Don't worry, it isn't actually very similar to Alien, there is more of survival theme than a horror theme.
Anyway, things I like include Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sci-fi books and movies and pretty well all kinds of music, (except dubstep because it's shit).
Favorite books in no real order;
Wolf in white van - John Darnielle; find this book and read it, oddly it actually relates to this website and CYOA stories in general.
Stonemouth - Iain.M.Banks; probably my favorite of Iain Banks books, great mix of humor and interesting characters.
Monster blood tattoo trilogy - D.M.Cornish; steampunk-esque fantasy trilogy with a really interesting and original setting.
World war Z and Ender's game - how did they screw up the movies so badly.
Storygames
You are the leader of a geological expedition to a nearby planet to assess the minerals present and its suitability for mining. You land on the planet but soon discover something has gone horribly wrong, the advance expedition is nowhere to be found and you are being stalked by an malevolent alien race that seems to want you and your team dead.

Hello all you presumably wonderful people on this wonderful site, I'm new here as you may have guessed. So far I've read a whole bunch of stories, browsed the forums and just started work on an exciting new storygame which i will probably never finish.
