Spirit Monster
unpublished

In a world of both magic and science, humans and monsters conflict against each other, struggling for their right to exist. Fighting fire with fire, humans make contracts with spirits of the dead, the living, everything in between, and perhaps even beyond that, to battle against the many races of monsters, from weak imps to the arrogant vampires. You are just one human living in these times. Will you rise and join the battle?

Notes: This story can switch between idealistic and cynical at sometimes random points. One moment some characters might talk about how the power of friendship/love/trust will save the day and the next second there's an arrow between their eyes. Though I'm too much of a coward to kill a major character off so easily.

Major notes: This game is NOT finished whatsoever. I've barely even started it yet. So please be patient, provide some feedback! All advice, tips, and feedback are welcomed!

Hmn, not a bad idea, not bad at all. Thanks for the suggestion, now I'm off for more brainstorming.

Unfortunately it's all original. Hence why I'm trying to find a different name.

I've put up the first 2 pages. Not much, I can definitely tell you.

I'm currently in the process of writing the story. Once I get the first 2 pages or so, you guys can check it out if you want to.

EDIT: Also, for now, I'm only going to do the Noble path first.

Well yeah, it's still in the works. I need to make sure my planning is good enough first. I don't want this to fall into ruins just because I didn't plan ahead.

Greetings and salutations, I'm one of the newest members of this site, imran102. In this thread,I wish to talk about my current story idea.

Title: Spirit Monster (Name may be changed)

What it's about: Set in a world of both magic and fantasy, a boy (either of noble birth, middle-class, or lower class, you get to choose.) enters the organization  Monster Hunters (name may be changed), who obviously fight monsters. You can choose to either be an assassin, warrior, gunner, mage or healer, and then you can choose the power that make Monster Hunters so powerful....the ability to summon spirits of the dead, the living, and beyond. You get different ones depending on your classes. From there on you progress and progress up till the end, and the many choices you make gives you different endings. I haven't exactly worked up all the many endings, but it all depends on if you choose to fight for humans, spirits, monsters, or all of the above.

We can always hope, it seems. I have a story idea in the works (haven't written it down yet, though), we'll see how good it'll be. Thanks for the encouragement and welcome.

Good Morning/Evening to all those who are reading, I am imran102, one of the newest members of this site. Amateur writer and artist, I'm still new to the concept of storygames, so please forgive any problems that I may create in the future.

I found this site probably a year ago. Before that I had the barest of an inkling of what a Choose Your Own Adventure story is. I came here looking for a good read, and that I did, with EndMaster's masterpieces Eternal and Necromancer. One hell of a introduction to storygames, that's for sure.

I don't know what else to say. I am definitely going to make a storygame, and then watch as it burns to the ground. That's not to say I've never written a story before, in fact you could search for some of my stories in FictionPress, but as you could see there, while my stories may had interesting concepts, most of them are unfinished.

So, I hope my introduction was good, and I am hoping I will be welcomed here. Tips and advice are greatly encouraged!
