Hello everyone! I'm trying to find a way that a reader can merely type an important word into the story and it will stay there. For instance, if you play a story and you're the main character, could you make a way that everyone says a name that you input instead of just pronouns?

Honestly the solution has always seemed more trouble than it's worth. You could just give a list of names to pick from, or you know, just...give the character a name. You're the author. You can do that.

That is the most obvious answer I've ever heard. I'm not insulting you. But I'm not complimenting you either. I dunno what I'm doing in general to be honest.
