Probably won't be able to use the inventory for this and will have to use variables to create an inventory, but just incase... Is there any way that I can have more than one of the same item... And I don't mean like 2 or 3, I mean as many as I want... And I don't want the items to be separate items in my inventory. I want only 1 of the items to appear in the inventory, but when you click on it, it says "You currently have 23 maguffins"... Or something like that. :p

You can, just use On-Page scripting in the Item Description.

... But, will the game be able to record how many of a certain item that I have, so that the item is lost when I use the last one?

I believe you can just keep putting it back in the inventory until a variable reaches X amount.

But I never really mess with items because I hates them.

IIRC you can have as many items with the same name as you want. Good luck figuring out one from another once the game starts, tho, as they will all look the same and act like unique objects (why do I have 7 copies of a pencil in my inventory?)
