9/15/2017: Hey guys, it's been... like... 11 years since I've used this platform. I just happened upon it again and seeing all this stuff I did when I was in middle school has been a trip, man. I'm confident to say I've grown a lot since then and there's plenty in these stories that make me cringe now, like old fanfiction or silly fanart of original characters I used to do. But also, they were super important to me, too, because they made me better as I went. So I ask you to read them with a grain of salt and forgive my tropes or silly blunders here and there; they're not too shabby. ;)

I hope to work on something new all this time later, so we'll see what comes of it. <3

The Devil's Fire

EDITS: unpublished for a moment to fix some missing pages.

The Devil's Act - an event in history carried out by one man that obliterated three entire states. Bana-Jxo has been leading a rather undercover life after what he'd done, but when the government starts sending out his own kind to kill him, he gets into a crux that uncovers just when all went wrong. Now, Bana must figure out the secrets of the Zempaph people, and protect newly found comrades in the process...

"The first rule to remember, Julian, is that pain is a gift to lead to a better tommorrow... A bittersweet gift, but still a gift."

You're not sure what's supposed to make you feel better. Nothing really makes you feel better. How can it? So you check the locks, you close the blinds, and you watch hour after hour of forensics shows and news coverage until the ceiling greets you and the pillow meets you.

Back in Action? New game? Scotomata! on 11/11/2009 9:11:38 PM

I've been missing for a while to work on comics and other writings, so my little ideas and thoughts about what to do next as a CYOA was left in the darker corners of my mind in a little box. Well, I've cleaned off the dust and started rummaging through that box... Okay, so that metaphor's going on far too long, but you get the idea.

Here's a little 'sneak-peak' at my current CYOA; if you're wondering, the whole prologue is dedicated to getting one key item later on in the game. Scotomata will be a larger project, like The Devil's Fire, but I hope to make it much better. I'm gathering up my own files and doing this the right way. I hope to make little projects on the side as I work on this one, but until then, here is a little demo of the prologue:

Hopefully, that works right. :|

Oh my god, totally off-topic announcement--I am now an even bigger sister! My very first brother was born today. He was exactly the weight I was when I was born! Fancy that.

He's also got my menacing eyebrows.

Of course! If I didn't know that, I wouldn't have such a big collection of books...

Is it as bad as Plan 9 from Outer Space?

Really? It did? I always assumed that videogames stole the 'worst dialogue' award...

I never even bothered to watch Eragon. Did it follow the book okay?

Yes, I'll probably just go on a pm spree.

I've never actually heard of Dragon Rider... I've heard of Eragon...?

Oh god, this is just sad. My mother's pregnant right now with my brother. One day my grandma leaves a text message on my dad's phone, and is all like: "Oh God, I have the PERFECT name for him! How 'bout Eragon? It's so cool sounding!"

And you could hear my dad sigh and look at the phone like it was insane.
