Mies are the galactic pet.

Farmers use them to help tend to their crops and livestock. The wealthy tote them around for show and status. But, most importantly, everyone in the galactic government has one by their side.

You have always wanted a Mie.

Mies: A bipedal species. These pets come in two genders: the males (commonly known as studs) and the females (commonly known as sows). A healthy Mie has one head, two legs, two arms, and two eyes on a flat face above a single nose. They grow thin fur membranes on their body with larger patches of fur appearing on top of their heads and around their reproductive organs post-puberty. These pets are highly intelligent and can understand commands once properly taught, plan, and manipulate objects at will. However, they are unable to use mana, nor do they have psychic abilities. Due to this, the Galactic Council has deemed it appropriate to only allow Mies to be taken as pets by sentients who have passed the required tests and background checks.

You swear to be the best owner ever.

Hi! I am glad to be here! on 5/15/2025 6:16:29 PM

I did see a thread on here talking about this topic. I will do my best to keep my writing tasteful and to treat serious subjects with tact. I will likely use the story "It's a Boy" as an example of what to do right, since the author did include serious topics/elements in his/her story, but only used such topics briefly and kept the details very light/brisk.

Thank you! I am glad that I am, at the very least, in the right ballpark for what readers here may find enjoyable (and that I seem to have a grasp on how to write a proper story on here). I have been writing for a while, so that may explain why/how this new format comes so easily to me.

I just found this site yesterday. I specifically made an account so I could rate this story called: "It's a Boy". The story was awesome, by the way.

But anyway, now I am going to shoot my shot at making a choose-your-own-adventure story. I cannot say when mine will be done, but you can see it as a sneak peek on my profile. Wish me luck on that, and I hope whoever is reading this has a great day/night.
